Jamie was picked to go into the high school marching band in the 7th grade and then also asked to perform in the high school concert band in that same grade. No one ever had been asked to perform with the high school concert band from the middle school until Jamie. Jamie was then picked to be the woodwind captain for his junior and senior year. He performed in the choir and also was the lead in the Cinderella musical playing the prince. Jamie was also picked for All County and All State Band.
